National Association of Council's on Developmental Disabilities

This year’s conference theme was Beyond the Conversation: It’s About Action.

PPL joined a national network of advocates and thought leaders in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and collaborated on the many ways in which DD Councils and partners are going beyond the conversation about critical topics of the time, and taking action to create change.

From addressing the direct support professionals crisis to making sure that Home and Community Based Settings (HCBS) is implemented successfully, the NACDD conference did more than just talk about issues, we all (attendee's and presenters alike)  describe the actions we are taking that lead to new opportunities and better outcomes in areas like employment, education and healthcare.
